What's a pre shoot?

A relaxed couple of hours, a few weeks before the wedding, somewhere that suits you. No schedule/ zero pressure.We get some couple shots, and I'll ask you a few easy questions about each other and record the answers. How you met, what you love about them, that type of thing. If you're down to write each other a letter, we can film that too. These moments end up in your final film and carry the story in your own words.It's also the day your personalities come through, which is harder to get on the wedding day itself when everything's moving. And by the time the big day comes you've already been in front of my camera, so you're more relaxed, and it shows in the film and even your photos.

What if we're awkward on camera?

Many couples worry about this.It's never been an issue once the day starts.I move quietly through the day, don't direct every moment, and let it unfold.Awkward camera footage is the kind where the videographer asks you to pose for every shot. I don't do that.

Can we choose the music?

If you would like to use specific music, I do 2 versions (no extra cost) one version for me, which I share on my portfolio and socials with music I believe fits the wedding best.

Your version is yours though. You're welcome to choose specific songs. Some come with licensing limits depending on where the film will live (private viewing, Instagram, YouTube), but we can work through what's possible on a quick call.

Are you a solo shooter?

Yes, I handle the full process myself: shoot, edit, deliver. A second cinematographer is available as an add-on if you want extra angles.I sometimes give a small, easy-to-use camera (Osmo Pocket 4p) to a bridesmaid or guest during the day. The footage often feels more candid and intimate than anything shot by the professional, and it ends up in the final film.
